How can you people criticize Jerry Seinfeld? That was the best episode ever! Why would anyone think of that as a "Jump the Shark" moment?

I'm rocking and rolling. The new season's starting tonight (my firstexperience at actually SEEING it on TV, not coutning on NBC's site.) Very funny;Tina Fey and the black guy (Tracy) current scene."To the batmobile".

This show is okay, not great, and it could be a lot better.

I'd have to say that it jumped the shark with the huge amount of guest stars. At first it was pretty good because the guest stars weren't "mega stars" (like Paul Reubens as the prince), but after a while the guest stars became mostly A-listers.

Another problem is the show seems to lack focus. It's a "show about a show" concept but we rarely ever see the show or the backstage stuff. For about the first 7 episodes of Season 1 there were writing meetings, rehearsals, scenes in makeup rooms, etc. Now they barely have these scenes. They could be working in a cheese factory and you wouldn't know the difference.

I cannot wait until the new season of 30 Rock. After the complete fail that is The Office/Earl Show, it'll be nice to see some actual amusing dialog.

Oh, one last thing,.,.I found the official NBC link to the next showing..Oct. 30 then moved ahead..Tina Fey IS currently on SNL tonight (Thursday, when 30R is SUPPOSED to be showing..better 'n; nuttin', y' know.

30 Rock combines great writing and excellent acting to make one of televisions best shows. If you have not seen it yet, then you are like most people, because this show has bad ratings that do not match up to how grewat it is. Just keep watching after The Office, there are only a few commercials, hang in there!

Love 30 Rock, dislike most all the high-rated reality shows. Firstly, those shows are not really creative. They are like saying car crashes are entertainment. 30 Rock, on the other hand, is edgy and Baldwin is really spot-on. It's almost an updated version of the Mary Tyler Moore show. In fact, it at least belongs in the same league. It has deserved all the Emmys it's won so far.

30 Rock jumped with the actors letting the average person know about their political stances at the Emmy's. Who really cares what actor's think? They live in a land of make-believe playing pretend characters making a lot of money. The rest of us have jobs in the real world with real people earning average incomes. I do enjoy being entertained. But make no mistake about it -- I do not enjoy hearing comments about politics from those people who have no idea of how the average person lives. I have a job that I love -- I am a librarian who works at a public library. I come into contact with many people who are hurting as a result of the loss of automotive jobs in Detroit. The average citizen is using the only democratic institution in the government -- the public library. It does not matter where you come from, your income, your ethnicity, your age. You will be assisted in whatever information you need to access. Thank goodness our patrons look to the library for information and not actors who purport to speak to those in need. I love 30 Rock but I don't know if I will be able to watch it this year.
