As a devout Southern Baptist Christian, i am truly, TRULY OFFENDED by "American Dad" and the other Godless entertainment that slimes all over the airwaves today. Making fun of Jesus and people of the faith is petty humor for those only smart enough for fart jokes. The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes...now their is quality entertainment and it is informative. My 11 year old daughter is not allowed to even utter the words "American Dad", "Family Man" and other generation X garbage. i long for the days of "Leave it to Beaver" and "The Brady Bunch" back when young people actually had respect for each other and their elders. keep watching your stupid, immoral television shows while the rest of us with the ability to think, run this country. i will pray for you poor, poor individuals. God is Good!!!!

When George W. leaves, Stan can blab constantly about how Michael Phelps took down the communist Chineese at the Olympics. Yeah it could be a shark jumper when the democrats take office. Seth will probably fill it with more liberal propiganda. Instead, I propose Francine getting hit with 10 bananna cream pies like Lois did on Family Guy.

American Dad just flat out sucks. Jumped from the moment we heard about it was created by Seth McFarlane. I can't stand that arrogant punk. Hopefully, both Family Guy and American Dad will get cancelled and stay that way.

See, I'm not a big Family Guy fan, but even though the majority of the episode sucks, there's always a clip or two that makes you laugh.

American Dad is like that... Except without the funny moment. It's just mindless drivle from a creatiely bankrupt writer who should have folded the franchise a long time ago.

Maybe when Bush goes away they can show more Francine and less Stan. I don't care if Francine is a cartoon, she is hot.

Political views aside, I hate anything written by Seth MacFarlane. He's like that snobby rich brat you went to school with as a kid who always thought he was better than everyone and let it be known. Whenever I watch one of his shows (or worse yet, see him in an interview or something) I feel like he's just looking down at the audience and trying to insult them, thinking that they'll be too dumb to know it. Pompous ass.

Great show! Don´t think it´s too liberal and unamerican, and patriotism is for morons anyway.

When George W. Bush leaves office in January 2009, this show will lose about 80% of its comedy material, then hopefully it will die.

I'm a big fan of McFarlane and co. and everything, but this show never even comes close to the brilliance of "Family Guy."
Like "The T Organization," I never personally found this show funny. Unlike "The T Organization," I see no need to diss a great show like "King of the Hill." It's not "Beavis and Butthead" but it's not intended to be and it's good in its own right. As for Francine and Haley being hotter than Lois and Meg, THEY'RE CARTOONS, DUDE! Besides grown-up Pebbles is much hotter.

I personally never found this show funny. This, like King of the Hill, is one of those shows that I've always wondered why it's still on the air.

I don't know which is funnier: the show or the flag-wrapped critics here who think the show's "un-American" because it pokes fun at the uber-American mindset of the last 7 years.
Yeah the show has had some dud episodes but what show hasn't?
Besides, the Haley/Francine catfight Roger engineered was WAAAY hotter than the one Lois had back in Season 1 of Family Guy.
That I work for a blonde who reminds me of Francine probably tips that edge.
