Shark Bytes
I'd have to say that, if anything, TAB had reached it's peak and would have ended up jumping the shark had it kept going. The episodes were beginning to become far more surreal and out of place from the first season, with a few random eps thrown in to bring it back down to earth (stare and stare alike...who else used to have staring contests with their sibling? *raises hand*). I'd have to say that Mitch Schauer and crew knew it had reached it's pinnacle of awesomeness, hence why they were going to make Bye Bye Beavers, yet Nickelodeon in their normal "we can't let everyone know we rerun everything into the ground" cancelled it and wouldn't air the last ep.
Apparently it did get produced and reviewed though....so there might be a copy floating around in some big exec's personal ***** collection.......

I loved Angry Beavers! But Nickelodeon in its typical douchey way, cancelled it to make room for 5000 more episodes of Rugrats. I'm hoping it gets released on DVD.
This show never jumped the shark. During its final years, the episodes did get a little weird, I'll say that, but as far as "bad" episodes are concerned, there may very well have been none. Obviously (as with any show) some episodes are better than others, but all the episodes were pretty good, in my opinion. Long Live the Angry Beavers!
THIS SHOW JUMPED WHEN NICK CANNED IT BECAUSE OF THE EPISODE 'BYE BYE BEAVERS', I MEAN, THIS WAS A GREAT SHOW, AND CAN'T NICK TAKE A JOKE? I GUESS THAT'S BECAUSE THIS SHOW CAME OUT AROUND THE TIME NICK WAS STARTING TO SUCK ITSELF.
Norb and Dag rule. They never jumped. Recurring themes don't qualify. If so, then Bugs and Elmer would be guilty and that is impossible.
I loved that show growing up. Classic Nickelodeon was genius! Remember the episode when they somehow went back to being little kids and spent the whole episode trying to get the "nut-ball thingy"? Hilarious! "Angry Beavers" has never jumped the shark.
Angry Beavers was cancelled in 1998, when the writers submitted and episode called "Bye Bye Beavers." In the plot of the episode, Norbert is informed he is on a tv show that has been cancelled and has to convince Daggett the they're not real, only cartoon characters. Nickelodeon rejected the script and cancelled the show.
The show was a surprising excellent show until some point of the second season. The show itself changed from show about two brothers with very strange and awesome adventures, to a show about "How to humiliate to Dagget in any possible way".
Timeline of Doom.
In 23. Alley oops the series began to change.
24. Sanz-a-plet/Gonna getcha: the series are turning in a new version of Ren & Stimpy. Nothing original... First Jump the shark.
After what's eating you and In Search of Big Byoo-Tox/Moronathon Man the series got seriously in the potty and even obsene humor against Daggett.
Evenmore, in an ending card of Tough Love / A Little Dad'll Do You is written an double-entendre joke about Charlie Brissette saying "Dont tell my wife. Hers isnt broken".
My Gosh!!! It is suppoused to be a children's series!!!!
THE FINAL JUMP THE SHARK:
- Pack your Dags: The angry beavers's crew really hate to daggett!!!!!!

What can I say about what remains arguably THE greatest Nicktoon ever? From wonderfully whacky stories and voice over work, to the extremely hilarious malapropisms and mispronunciations, to the gut-busting (and sometimes way outta left field) pop culture/movie references (using lines from "Ben Hur" and "On Golden Pond" in spots where you'd least expect them, and the spot-on Sergio Leone parody in "The Legend of Kid Friendly", right down to "Once Upon A Time In The West"'s squeaky windmill), there is absolutely nothing wrong with this show. I am SO glad that we have Nicktoons TV, since we can watch at least one hour of Beavers a day. VIVA LA BEAVER! And Daggett rules!
The Angry Beavers, without a shadow of a doubt, never jumped the shark (at least for the number of episodes I've watched...and I can't wait to watch the rest!) Also, I absolutely cannot comprehend the reason as to why "Beaver Feaver" got slammed by some here. Why, on tvtome.com, it's rated as the best of the series! And it is! I just saw it for the first time today and practically died laughing. Ted Browman and his i.e.'s were hilarious. And the sliced bread? Ingenious! I can see why singing animals might annoy some, but in this series? Too perfect. And I couldn't believe that Barry White actually played Barry (well actually, yes I could.) Oh well. To each their own, I suppose.
