I think it's swell that David Caruso finally got an actor he can surpass: Elizabeth Berkely!
When wife and kid get in trouble, What is up with Horatio's "I'll handle this" and the police letting them walk? He can't be that powerful. It has jumped.
Yeah the show definitely jumped a long time ago.. I'd say Ryan getting fired and then re-hired would be a good pinpoint of the actual jumpage.
But I still watch it even though it is incredibly ridiculous.
I can't wait to see what actually happened to Ron Sardis, since they never recovered the body.

But seriously, what was with all the pink on 10/20/08 episode?? It drove me nuts.
Dead seriously: he did it again! Put on his sunglasses and proceeded to walk inside the building at the end of the show! At least H wore a lab coat on one of the new episodes this year...as for all you fashionistas out there, apparently pink and purple are the "in" color this year (as opposed to last year's pumpkin orange and limey green). But you'll never get me to believe that The Grinch was ever intimate with Elizabeth Berkely, even in the fantasy-land that is CSI: Miami; he's just too pale and gruesome to have ever tapped that.....
And,of course, I applaud Calleigh's brand new lips...

Has CSI Miami Jumped the Shark
I have to say that CSI Miami has not yet to jump the shark. Everytime I watch the show something new is happening nothing the same is ever going on. I enjoy watching the show because of its charecters, humor, and actions.
The main character Haratio is a great actor he gets straight to the point and never holds anything back. Haratio always has the people laughing maybe because of something he does or even says such as “Looks like that was his last shot.” Haratio said that when Speed was shooting at one of the criminals and missed everytime untill he ran out of bullets.
Also, I believe that NY and Vegas are to serious to be watched. The two shows are more for the people who are straing forward and get right to the point. Therefor Miami is for the more laied back people who like to watch goofy things. The charecters in Vegas and NY seem like they are there to do there job and there job only, when the Miami charecters are there to do their job and also have fun at the same time.
One of my favorite episodes is the one where Wolf gets shot in the eye with a nial gun. He is my favorite character on the show because he is the one I relate to the most. I’m a person who never gives up and always pushes my self. In that episode the day Wolf got out of the hospital he went right back to work.
This is why I believe that CSI Miami has not yet jumped the shark and I also believe that it never will.

Pure trash. This "show" is nothing more than a cartoon for adults. Horatio Caine has as much relevance or reality as Wile E. Coyote, Scooby Doo, or Tom & Jerry; except those characters are better actors.
dump the kid and his wife(berkly) they are bad.

I jumped from Day One- actually, before that- when David Caruso guested on the original (and better!) CSI Las Vegas. It's no secret that William Petersen wasn't happy about the spinoff being created, and I don't blame him, especially with who they got as a lead!

I can never forgive Caruso for what he did to "NYPD Blue". Who did he get career advice from- Pernell Roberts, Farrah Fawcett, or MacLean Stevenson?

I have never watched the Miami show for the mere presence of this jerk. The ONLY reason this show is popular is because of the Florida locale. Other than that, it's junk. You might as well kill off Caruso and replace him with Don Johnson- after all, he's has a hit show in Miami before!! Stick with the Vegas original!
Some things REALLY bug me about Horatio. Maybe that's why I'm hating the show so much right now.

There'll be a criminal running away or something, and H will pull out his stupid little gun and fire one shot perfectly and the bad guy will fall the the ground, spit out a few heartfelt last words while Horatio half-kneels next to him, and then dies. Horatio saves the day. We get it. He's a hero.

And why do people find him so intimidating? With one remotely-mean look, he can get someone to confess to a murder or something, and he can make someone put down their weapon when they're on the verge of killing somebody. WHY DON'T THEY JUST BEAT UP HORATIO ALREADY?! Easy enough, just sneak up on him when he's putting on his sunglasses or something and punch him in the gut. It doesn't seem to be that hard. Yet Horatio is invincible. He will always be.

Bad things have happened to everyone else-- Calleigh's car flew in a pond, Eric got shot in the head and nearly died, Speedle got killed (duh), Alexx quits, I'm not sure what happens to Frank (who really cares about him anyway?), and Wolfe got shot in the eye with a nail gun, but nothing like that ever happens to Horatio. It's always a close call, but nothing bad ever happens to him.

Oh, and for a good laugh, find that 'Burn Baby Burn' clip where the car blows up behind H and he walks away slowly and nonchalantly. 'Oh, it's a lovely day in the neighborhood, a Hummer just exploded behind me, I'll just put on my sunglasses and not look back, dum de dum.'
Horatio can't stand up straight at all now. His neck apparently can't support his head anymore. Also, the last episode actually showed a closeup of his sunglasses in his hands. I can't believe he gets paid a ton of money for this show. Cheese-arama!

I'm very upset with your new time schedule. I really enjoyed watching CSI every night at 7pm and the all nighters on Wed. & Fridays. Now with all these stupid reality shows I'm quite discusted, I really don't want to see drug and drunks falling on the floor, nor do I want to see a stupid looking Dog bounty hunter, why can't we just stick with old fashoned tv with a story behind it... The other CSI shows are still running sll the time on the other stations what happened to A&E. People like living in a fantisy world when they watch tv, the real world is depressing enough why should we watch it when its time to relax.. Besides CSI is all the reality I would like to see, at the end the bad guys are always caught. Put the show back on the way it used to be and get rid of the crap. It's come to the point that I don't even watch your station anymore except for CSI and the Sopranos. You need to do something about this. I'm having CSI cravings.
I can tolerate the campiness. I can tolerate the Hummers. I can even tolerate David Caruso and his limited acting skills. It's Elizabeth Berkeley I can't tolerate! Her acting is so bad she couldn't act cold if she were freezing to death. The show may have jumped before she was cast, but I can't bear to watch an episode with her in it.
