Better yet, have him smoking weed on the show and have him get higher than a kite. I would have really loved to make a tape of this one!

Dennis should have been allowed to mature on the show to the extent that he "played doctor" with Margaret behind Mr. Wilson's garage.

When Mr Wilson took a crowbar upside Dennis' noggin and they left the laugh track off. WTF?! How was I going to know when to laugh?

This show jumped the shark when Jay North blew the whistle about the disgraceful way he was treated off-screen.

Actually, Frawley played "Bub", who may or may not have been a relative. It was Wm. Demarest who replaced him with his character "Uncle Charlie", who may, or may not have actually been related to the Douglasses

Once again the category same character-differetn actor has an error similar to stating that are 2 actors both portraying Det Goren on L & O-C I. Here they claim that 2 different actors portrayed Mr Wilson, close but no cigar, after the original Mr Wilson died, that character's brother-another Mr Wilson came to live with the widow and became Dennis' latest foil, he was named Mr Wilson but everyone knew it was the first Wilosn's brother.

When Wm Frawley died he was playing the uncle in My three Sons, then Ray Walson was brought in the play another "uncle", just like in Dennis the Menace

Dennis started growing up. One of the few shows that literally HAD to end. Seven year old kid with slingshot in back pocket....cute. TWELVE year old with slingshot in back pocket.. not cute. Very simple. Oh, and Gale Gordon sucked on this show.

I don't see why the seasons are not on DVD Yet.

The two Mr. Wilsons ARE NOT the same character. They both are BROTHERS!

I don't think this show jumped but when I saw the first episode I was about 4 or 5 years old and was very disappointed it bore no resemblance to the comic book characters...! One more comment; that Gloria Henry was one beautiful lady. How did such a dorky looking guy get a babe like her??

This show jumped the shark when the first Mr Wilson died....It lost it's touch at that point....Funny thing about the first Mr Wilson, Dennis was always getting him in trouble with the police, he had an extensive rap sheet.
