I think George's comment hit the nail on the head.
And it's a shame you can't bash anything these days without being called racist, bigot, etc. We're paying a heavy price these days: the price is our freedom of speech.

Miss Nannette thinks it to be quite clear who has won..the pro community, pro good citizneship anti racism pro Dora side vs. the angry white male bullying negative angry anti-Dora side!
This nation is entering a new phase of positive change and coming-together as one community of good citizens looking out for the interests of all, not just of the priveledged few!
And in helping the littlest children to learn the values of community involvement, brave determination to move forward and an optimistic, positive can do attitude regardless of race ethnicity or gender...can Dora assist in promoting this great and noble new spirit among the children?
YES SHE CAN!!!!!!!!

This site isn't the bloody praise Dora cult site, Nanette. It's to say when you think TV shows went downhill.
Oh what a silly and narrowminded patriachal Judeo-Christian attitude to think Hallow's Eve is satanic! Nothing of the sort!
And yes, Miss Nannette did have one little girl dressed as Dora come to her door! She is glad she left campus early on Friday to come home this weekend for trick-or-treat and babysitting around the old neighborhood!
Oh and there was a commercial on TV for a new DVD for a Dora sing along! It's coming very soon!!
And I'm sure our movie won't be far behind, so keep those letters coming! Miss Nannette has received form letter responses, but that won't stop her...write, write and WRITE AGAIN!!!

Wow. Nannette says we shouldn't celebrate the Fourth of July (I'm pro-British and I don't really like America, so I don't celebrate it anyway) and instead we should spend it watching Dora, but she encourages everyone to take part in the satanic holiday of Halloween.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL FROM MISS NANNETTE!
Miss Nannette certainly hopes she sees some Dora costumes among the trick-or-treaters tonight!
And when one loses a game of tug-of-war, the rope one is holding is snatched away from one's hands. Hence the winning team swipes it from you!
Hence SWIPER NO SWIPING was wonderfully apropos!!

"Swiper, no swiping?" What's that got to do with tug-of-war? No wonder they had puzzled looks on their faces!
Nannette, they probably were thinking "Is this girl mental or something?". That's why they had puzzled looks on their faces. Oh, and by the way, saying "Swiper no swiping" isn't a cheer, it's a statement, and a stupid one at that.
Dora The Explorer is not only interactive for children, it is empowering for them!
This past summer, Miss Nannette was a teen volunteer at a community Children's Day Camp. Well, one day they organized a tug-a-war match. They actually put the ssecond and third graders against the first graders and kindergardners! Miss Nannette thought that was most unfair, but unfortunately she was not calling the shots.
But FORTUNATELY she WAS the counselor on the side of the little ones. We knew what the outcome would be and we weren't about to let the bigger ones gloat over an unfair victory. So I called a huddle...and when the inevitable end came and the big kids were just starting to whoop and cheer, all the little ones, led by Miss Nannette herself, pointed over to them and yelled out "SWIPER NO SWIPING! SWIPER NO SWIPING!" And then we did our own cheer and traded high fives!!
You should have seen the puzzled faces of the oversized victors that day!
So chalk one up for Dora for giving a victory even in the face of certain defeat to the littlest children!!!!
