Ever watch this show and think...why am I wasting my time? Well that's pretty much me about 15 minutes into each episode. It's got the most predictable story lines and such uneven chemistry between the cast. If I didn't hot chicks, Jermey Piven's over the top but hilarious Ari Gold or Kevin Connelly's Eric so much I probably wouldn't watch at all. Drama is so one-dimensional, the most annoying character on TV. I think that's where the show sours, can Kevin Dillon please learn how to effin' act?. With respect to "E" the character development over the years has been stale.
Jerry Ferrara and Jamie Lynn-Siegler are not dating in real life. Jerry is already dating a model named Alexis and they've known each other since high school!!! Jeez, just because two of the actor's characters hook up on the on-screen doesn't mean thir dating in real life!!!!!
Actually Turtle and Jaime Lynn Sigler are a couple in real life so it's not that hard to believe, plus who of us haven't seen a loser looking guy with a hot chick and wonder how he pulled that off. It happens in real life too.
Turtle and Jamie-Lynn Siglar?? Even accepting that the whole show is supposed to be a male fantasy, that's still a little hard to swallow.

Still a great show, though.

:)
As far as I am concerned, as long as Jeremy Piven is around to play Ari Gold, this show will continue to be watchable. He steals every scene he is in, and I can live with that. But for the concensus of where the jump was, I think it was once they brought back Billy Walsh to direct another one of Vince's movies. It was that bad the first time, it would be that bad again. Sorry, but if I can see where you're going before you can, then it's a jump.
No I think the actor who played Dom also played Herc on The Wire. He's a real actor not a member of Wahlberg's entourage.

The Seth Green plot-line in the last episode was annoying as hell. It wasn't funny and he's not funny.
I think this season is better than last season. Ari taking on his partner, Vince having problems on set, I think this season got back to what I liked about the show. 2 Bad episodes, mushroom and Dom. Can't win them all!
Oh, I think the actor playing Dom is a member of the Mark Wahlberg's own real-life entourage. That's how he got into the show. And keeps coming back to the show.

Haven't watched it in a while and then somehow caught the one where Dom is reformed and the studio chief drops dead on the golf course. That was enough to remind me never to watch it again.

I think the problem is the actor who plays Vince. Ask yourself if you could ever imagine Adrian Grenier helming an action movie. Or a biopic of a ruthless gangster. Or anything other than a sitcom.
Jumped the shark at the end of season 3. There are so many reasons the last two seasons have sucked...too much Ari (I thought the show was about an Entourage, not Hollywood insider agent crap), Dom was terrible, Turtle with the rap producing, The Murphy Group. I can't see it going more than another pity season to wrap things up.
Ari and Vince having a boarderline intimate moment before boarding their planes? Please.
Season 5 - The Non Stop Suckathon

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once my favorite show.
I pretty much agree with everyone that this show JTS at the start of season 4 with the Medellin episode. By then, everyone was pretty much out of anything interesting to say. HBO should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass off season 5 as 'Entourage', its not even in the same league as seasons 1-3. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
Hey, I agree with alot of you about how bad the show has gotten. I actually bought first 3 season's on DVD. Watched season 4 over summer. I thought season 4 was okay. I did not have HBO but listen to talk sports during day. One host always talking about show so that's how I found it. The host said show had jumped shark this season and I agree. This season has been really bad. 1st episode was okay and you thought maybe they get better. I actually had hope after episode where VINCE was trying get a role in that fire fighter film. but then came the mushroom episode (note to writers. It's not funny or interesting when you are sober and others are stoned on hallucigens). Case in point. Go hang out in a bar and don't drink all nite. It's annoying. Especially when the actors are playing stoned. In fact I had been thinking about it since first episode this season. I cancelled HBO because I was only watching HBO for enotourage. So they brought DOM back? Thank Goodness I cancelled. LOL WWord is spreading the show now sucks. BTW a hint I thought the producers knew whole season was lacking was a cameo in first episode. The golf outing between Ari and Mark Walbergh. Mark has not been in show since season 1 cameo. So he shows up this year? Mark knew show was lacking so he added an appearance. I know hollywood types read this site so wonder what show's producers think of all the negativity. They most likely know this season has sucked. I'd like to add something personal here so if not interested stop reading. I think show also hurt by today's reality: The economy. I am sure like most of you our 401K's have taken a hit. I like alot of you am concerned I could get layed off work. So cancelling HBO saved a lil money. I know some people at another company in my industry just lost their jobs. So knock on wood. What does this have do with Entourage. Well Entourage is what we think living the star life in hollywood is like. When you are facing the economic reality we are today. Maybe one of worst financial crisis since great depression. Watching a show like entourage just seems sooo irrelevant. Two guys drag racing in $100,000 cars. Damn I just like to have a decent car with no payments. Guys eating mushrooms? I just like to be able go out have a decent meal at a restraunt with GF. Entourgae premiered in 03 when market was taking off. It's petering out when market has tanked. Who wants to watch a buncha guys goofing off, making good money, living a dream when your worried about debts and losing your job. So I enjoyed Entourage. Still have the DVD's. Entourage was cool because I believe that the early episodes were indeed was how hollywood was and how deals are made. But now it is just caricature. I look for ratings to drop but without any shows in development HBO may keep Entourage on for awhile. I think a good comparison would be THAT 70's SHOW. that show was soo funny reminding me of growing up as young teen in 70's. 70's show was absolutely unwatchable it's last few years. That looks like where Entourage is headed. I think main problem right now is fact by having Vince make that bomb film and side tracking his career. The show has also gotten side tracked. I thought a big miss was the episode with Martin landau where he has that script. Studio head hated Vince bought script and film never was made. Vince should have been able make that movie. Right now only show I enjoy is THE OFFICE. New episodes of OFFICE have been pretty good so far. Thanks for reading my post. Apologize for length.
Warning: If you are an Ari-worshipping faux hipster or have a thing for men with hairplugs and who wear lifts, read no further. This show really sucks!
The October 12 episode, "ReDOMtion" marked my "shark jumped" point for Entourage. They should have marked it "a very special episode of Entourage" to warn us about the sappy story lines. The needless return of the "reformed" Dom character. The awful cameo by Phil Mickleson.

Pwew!
