How can you comment on a show you don't see all of the time???

I still have nightmares of the lame scripts, horrible acting and morbidly obese cast. Please make it end!!!!!!!
Where does this show currently air?
I haven't seen it in on in the US since Hallmark last aired it in 2002.
I heard it's on in Columbus Ohio, but that's the only place in the US I know it's on in. Other than that I know it's on in Canada on CTS and probably other countrys. I heard ION would bring it to their lineup at on point, but that never happened. And I figured the people who comment here see it all the time. How can you comment on a show you don't see all of the time???
I'll try this post again. In the series finale of The Morbidly Obese of Life, the big fat Jew and her minions go to live in a trailer belonging to a traveling freak show that trolls the midways of third-rate carnivals. The fat one is the big deal because her talent is that they put her naked in a box while she's eating pork on a stick and thrill seekers come by with fifty cents and get to open the box top and look inside it.The red headed woman (now sporting a long Russian beard) acts as Master of Ceremonies and has a big megaphone that helps to lure unsuspecting carnival goers to the most horrific sight of their lives.
Why was one character called "Tootie"--because she was known for her farts? Also, the big fat ugly Jew--what was her name, Madge, Mincemeat, HannukahHam?And what was up with the senile old redhead. Was that school really a front for underaged hooking and Mrs. Red (certainly no carpet matching drapes on this bag of ditchmud) their Madam or Pimpette?
"I want your guys's opinions on the acting in this show."

Pedestrian. OK, nothing special. Tootie was horrible, the rest was typical 80s schlock. You really had the impression that, in those days, they were phoning it in to make a buck. Everything (writing, directing, editing) was so so-so, so pat and formulized that I yawn even thinking about it. There really wasn't much groundbreaking here that I could tell. A fat girl had sex with a scumbag; isn't that every Friday night in America?
i remember seeing an episode when blair was in the hospital really badly bruised up and had a huge gash on her forehead and she was crying histerically and even broke up with her boyfriend. this was a few years ago when the show was still on hallmark before they took it off and replaced it with that stupid "waltons" and "seventh heaven" crap! i had not seen the episode when it was in its initial run, or when it was being reran on other stations. but i remember thinking, "oh my god...blair was attacked...either by her boyfriend, or a rapist" because the way she was acting was so out-of-character for her. i had just came in just when blaire was in the hospital talking with jo and she asked jo to get her a glass of water, or something and she picked up a mirror and looked at herself and got all upset. it was pretty scary, but then i later learned she was in a car accident. then i was like, "typical blair! she almost buys it in a car wreck, but she's ready to withdraw over a stupid scar on her head!" the over-the-top acting on blair's part led me to believe that she was the victim of a brutal attack, but then seeing that she was asleep at the wheel of her car and crashed into a tree and was acting all crazy and emotional over a scratch on her forehead made me almost want to laugh out loud. looking back, i realize this was during the later seasons of the show when it became a huge crapfest! also supposedly the same season where natalie lost her virginity to that greasemonkey boyfriend of hers.
I want your guys's opinions on the acting in this show. Everybody is always talking about how well Mckeon did! She seems to get the most praise. And I agree, she is extremely talented.
And Lisa Whelchel is amazing to! All 5 of the cast throughout the 9 seasons were stupendous I believe! Some of the acting in season 1 when the girls would go crazy, was a tad cheezy, but not bad. Nancy really could do anger or sad scenes perfectly! And Charlotte(being the oldest)could play a mother figure the best! I don't think we got to see Mindy and Kim's acting to the fullest. They didn't have as many dramatic or sad scenes. I have heard people critisize the acting on shows, but they never said wether it was in one season or through the whole thing.
I think that acting is good as long as it is effort is put into it and it is convincing! And when you are actor, not everybody is gonna like your work. Some people will find it amazing and uplifting, but others will find it totally crappy and dull. Everybody's a critic. I think that this is the greatest and the most well acted show ever on TV!
(Next to The Wonder Years)It deserves alot more attention and time on TV!!! Everything about it is perfect! Acting, wardrobe, setting, cast, etc. And I like how it doesn't take place in S.D., L.A., NYC, but is in Peekskill, NY! What an unusual location for a show. Peekskill is located only like 40 miles from NYC, which explains how Manhattanite Blair and Bronx girl Jo are able to get home so often and how their parent's visit all the time. And in conclusion, would these idiots who are posing as smartboy knock it off already?!?! A guy I knew named JazzyJared always got treated that way, and now he has fled this site! And here's an idea for when you leave messages using other peoples names: HAVE A POINT!!! That makes it so much more interesting for the reader!!!
Smartboy,

Why are you saying mean things about me? I've never said anything nasty about you. This is like that episode where Blair was mean to Jo & called Natalie a morbidly obese strumpet!
I am finding this very hard to believe! It has been weeks since I have posted anything on this site and and I would have thought that the novelty of having fun at my expence would have worn off by now. However, some looser still got the urge to post a message under my pen name on this very day! Go figure!
F*ck Chester!!!
Let's see if we can untangle all this show had to offer based on the theme song; this is for season 2 until the end--the season 1 theme was different, and short-lived:

You take the good, you take the bad,
you take them both and there you have
The facts of life, the facts of life.

Hmm, not much there. Kinda drivel. Let's keep going:

There’s a time you got to go and show
You’re growin’ now you know about the facts of life,
The facts of life.

Whaa? Try to say that fast 3 times...

When the world never seems to be livin up to your dreams
And suddenly you’re finding out
The facts of life are all about you, you.

Let's see--you are morbidly obese & you date the hottest guys? You are a minor & you live with some old, incompetent woman who can't track your comings & goings? Sounds like life is pretty sweet, as opposed to not living up to your stupid dreams...

It takes a lot to get ‘em right
When you’re learning the facts of life. (learning the facts of life)
Learning the facts of life (learning the facts of life)
Learning the facts of life.

Oy vey, I give up....
Loved this as a kid...as an adult watching episodes on youtube, I realize how unrealistic and unfunny this show is. It's basically a bunch of crap and alot of little girls actually bought into this. I remember kids, including myself, wanted to live in a big house with their friends and a flighty old woman rather that with their parents. At least shows out there now are more realistic...and I'd much rather watch a marathon of "Two and a Half Men" or "How I Met Your Mother" over any episode of this pile of sh*t anyday! Heck, I'd even take any episode of "The Hills" over this!
this show did just the opposite for me
i liked watching it but it made me happy i didn't have any female friends and all my friends were male
because girls are too catty and dramatic
This show was good but after a while it made me feel bad about only having all male friends.
This show wasn't what I would consider a step forward towards true feminism and female empowerment. Firt off in the very first season most of the girls were running around in skimpy little outfits even when it was supposed to be winter. The other thing was all the really attractive girls (Blaire, Sue Anne, Tootie and Nancy) were basically giggling, boy-crazy bimbos and all of the considerable unattractive girls were either lezzie tomboys (Cindy) or hardcore feminist (Molly) or just plain going for the big laughs (Natalie). Even in the later seasons, when Jo came on, they'd touch on feminist issues like sexual assault and Jo being her boyfriend's boss, but aside from Jo, the other girls were just idealized versions of femininity. Then by the later seasons, even though they were professional women, they still lived for their men. Not exactly teaching girls a good lesson here. And of course they just had to rope in good old George Clooney as the "healthy dose of testosterone" didn't they?! This show could have had so much potential to feature real women, strong women, independent women who didn't need men for anything. If you ask me, none of them should have even gotten involved with men in the first place.
