have 2 ask : what is 'we' ?
No. Consequently, WE (the current syndicator) ditched it about a year ago. It was on until early 2007. By the way, what is with all the wedding crap? Didn't we learn something from 2004?
Is this on anywhere?
I'm the Jan 18 Luke. I'm a completely different person from the Dec 13 Luke. I didn't notice that there was another Luke till I was re-reading some of the more recent posts. Sorry if I confused the most recent poster (Luke Is Cool). I'll call myself Luke 2 in the future. PS, I think Luke(1) is cool & Luke Is Cool is cool too, & I agree completely with both of them!
Hi Luke,

I have something else for you to consider. Scott Foley, the guy who portrayed Noel is an idiot. Typical Midwesterner of a guy. I hate his hair, his plaid shirts, his hair, and sweaters. There are a lot of people like him that are wrecking this world. I can't watch American Idol because their keyboardist is reminds me of him. He's probably from a putrid Midwestern state. There are plenty of people like him. This makes you think twice about an intelligent, attractive prep like him.
Ben, on the other hand and the real life person, Scott Speedman is far better. Both people are realistic, humorous, and better looking. At the same time they are serious about themselves, they are also looking for good, clean fun. Not like Noel where the activity must involve something preppy and boring.
Come to think of it, is it any wonder Scott Foley and Noel are a continuation of his Dawson's Creek character, Drew? Foley must have been hired because of that. I do realize he was the original pick for Ben. But, the WB got someone better. And we all know who that is.
Take great care.
I disagree. She looks great!
Jumped when the chick cut her hair. I remember seeing a picture of this chick when this show first came on, and she struck me as an absolutely gourgious blonde.

Then a couple years later, her lovely locks were gone...

Talk about a bad move....
Hey! Can we talk?
Felicitypage is the title you mean. And, yeah, she looks really cute in the photos!
I think the time-slot changes were what hurt 'Felicity' . It began on a week-day night originally, (Tuesday, I think,) right after power-house Buffy, but then was batted to Sunday, putting it against the whole NBC-ABC-CBS-FOX prime-time big hitters. Felicity's place was then taken, I think, by 'Angel', thereby giving that show an enormous lead-in. A lot of viewers never made the jump to Sunday. The WB (I miss the WB!) then batted it to another night -- was it Wednesday? To complicate matters, 'Felicity' was always the favourite choice for pre-emption when the WB needed to slip something in their schedule. The crucial loss of viewers occurred before her beautiful hair cut : short hair girls are sexy ! (Is it hair or haired in English?) short haired girls are sexy ! I know that there were some baby-boomer ( like born before 1960 ) women TV critics which just hated the show & her character personally & took the time-slot change as an opportunity to attack the show. I can't vote on the jump-the-shark vote personally, because I was travelling & moving too much to follow the show after year 2 & thus can't comment on the time-travel disputes. Would this show be worth watching all the way through on DVD? Check out her really sexy short hair , or sexy short haired , pics on-line, like the fanpage collection place. ( I think it's called FelicityFanpage, or something like that -- very nice ! ) -- Joe In The City
Luke, I think you're really cool and right on the mark. I read your post so many times. I thought it was great. I have not seen the movie Animal House in a long time. I remember the sentiment I made alright about that. It was what I wanted to do but it's obvious it will never happen. I still wished someone would wreck her guitars. BTW, Animal House was a lot more accurate about college life. The actress that portrayed Julie is a slut. She's doing nothing but **** these days. She reminds me of Britney Spears without the southern accent. A few photos of her, if you look carefully, you can see Britney's face. However, I am comparing the jerk to Britney when she was 18. I saw Without Limits and a few other movies of hers. She's only great for sex scenes and her ear bleeding guitar and vocal solo crap.
There is so many bad things about this show, it jumped the shark over and over again yet i couldn't stop watching it. Felicity is one of the most flawed and neurotic characters who makes the most appalling life decisions.
I think it redeemed itself somewhat when Julie left. She was an awful friend. After the date rape incident with the 'pink guy' in the first season you actually felt more more sorry for him. She got worse from there backstabbing everyone and then lying about taking drugs and leaving. Horrible bitch. I agree with the sentiment about smashing her guitars.
It then finished with the most stupid and ridiculous ending ever, and not just for the crap time travel nonsense. After all the crap about her changing her classes to be an artist to rebel against her parents because she was such a goody two shoes, she decides to be a doctor anyway. She shouldnt have bothered going to New York in the first place, idiot. At least Elena ended up being alive.
There were lots of good things about the show though, like the sally tapes as a way of showing introspection which became the docuventery. That was a good storytelling technique.
I think i really miss this show, but do not want any more to be made. A great show for JJ Abrams to start his career with. If his Star Trek is anything like this show, all Trekkies will be doing a Felicity with their hair.
This show is in total obscurity. Thank God. Felicity was an annoying person. The only good guy was Benjamin. Ben was smart, funny, and could make you smile. Julie was nothing more than a guitar soloist with no direction in life. I wanted to smash each of her guitars and Julie against a wall just like that one does in the movie "Animal House." Everyone else was in it to win a prize.
I agree about "Can we talk?" being said ad nauseum, but wasn't it, "Hey", "HEY!", "Hey, can we talk?"
This show had, debatibly, one good season. After that it was terrible, just a lame Ben/Noel to and fro.

The whole, "lets go back in time to when we had ratings" was lame. Please people, make at least a tiny effort.

I truly hope that the writers this show had are now all unemployed, moved back with their parents and contracted a fatal STD, you bastards.
