The Soup is HILARIOUS! I used to watch it as Talk Soup back in the day. And still, Greg Kinnear is my fave actor.
But Joel McHale ROCKS in his role as the host of this show!!
Favorite moment? The cat eating the spaghetti. Even McHale found it hilarious as he was explaining the bit! CLASSIC!
I can't wait each week for the new episode!

It was all she wrote when Skunk Boy left. John Henson was Talk Soup. He left such a huge void that Hal Sparks and Aisha Tyler never stood a chance.
haha. i love Joel McHale. its not as funny as it usually is during Summer. theres not a lot of good shows on then. i loved when they made fun of Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire and Lou on American Idol. And Matt from Hell's Kitchen. haha. soo funny..
and that "Some People Weren't Liking It" from Danny Noriega is soo funny. i love Danny =P.

Joel McHale is awesome. I stopped watching when Henson left (although I caught a few of them here and there with the new crap hosts they had). I happened to catch it one time with McHale and I'm hooked again. He definitely kicked life back into that show.
It was great back when Greg Kinnear hosted. Then, he was replaced by a series of hosts, each less funny and more flamingly gay than the one before.
Joel Mchale is excellent in this show. I think the talk soup (or the soup as it's now called) has a sticky problem about how often it should be aired.
When Kinnear and Henson had it, it worked ok on a daily basis, but seemed a bit strained sometimes. It was probably hard to get an interesting 1/2 hour or hour daily.
In the format they now use with Mchale, it could probably work with a 2 or 3 times a week format. Just not everyday.
