DAY ONE!!!

It's January, I live in the North East and have a broken leg, so I'm on house arrest. And cable TV insists on re-running garbage like this, Still Standing, Reba, Everybody Loathes Raymond, That 70s Show and the Bernie Mac Show (Great stand-up tho, God rest his soul), and MadTV on Comedy Central. Needless to say i'm about to go crazy.

I remember when i was young during days off from school being able to watch classics like Night Court, Soap, Sanford and Son, classic SNL and GOOD simpsons re-runs all in one day. What happened.

I actually look forward to watching shows like "King of Queens" and "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper."
Part of the fun and laughter was everybody under one roof.
After the move, it just didn't seem so funny.
If you live together you can't just say "Get Out"
Horrible. Just horrible.
This was a great show that just disappeared one day. The neurotic perfectionist mom, I know lots of these nuts. Sorry its gone, it never jumped
This show was awful. The writing was terrible, and the acting was even worse. At least Jimmy and Christine were the better of the 2 pairs of primary characters. The Greg and Kim characters were written worse than the hokey old shows.

So predictable, I understand they were trying to compete with the sicky sweet TGIF ABC shows, but this is worse than the worst of Full House!
I love the show and watch it every day i like the episode after Jimmy and Christine moved into there own house it was expecially funny when Greg and Kim had to move in with then when he had no job and the house was infested with mold that was the best episode ever.
I just started watching this show in it's reruns. Usually when I actually start watching a new show. I got hooked from the first show. I havn't seen them all that's for sure but the one that sticks in my mind was when Greg had to get rid of his "toys" the nintendos and all the fun videos and skee ball stuff. And he rented a storage and then made it into his own play room. Come to find out all the husbands were doing the same thing. Oh my gosh, that was way clever and too funny. Never saw that story line in any other show. That's what I love about the show. Not the same gags as are used in so many other shows. I am watching as many as I can and planning on getting all the seasons on DVD just like my other fav shows. NO COMMERCIALS! YAY
Has there ever been a show that lasted so long with such an untalented cast? The wives are cute, but bland. The husband Greg -- even if he didn't have that gay vibe, he is not funny or even likeable. And Jimmy was easily the worst of the "chubby, selfish man-child married to a hottie" craze of a few years ago. As for the actor who plays him, I'd hate to meet the ESPN viewer who thinks "The Rick" is even remotely funny.
this is just typical CBS, blandness that everyone thinks is funny, just like everybody loves raymond and two and a half men, and most of their sitcoms
I love the show yes dear, It is funny and new ones need to be made. every episode it is like watching it for the first time.
Jumped day one
This show was O.K. the first couple years, and then it got really good for a few years only because it got more racy then any show of it's kind. Kim & Chrissy talking about what kind of "jobs" they would or wouldn't do in high school. And Kim using the "I wore braces" excuse. Also Kim did a whole lot of bending over in front of the camera to show of her nice rack. I don't know why she bothered to put her top on, all I could ever look at were her bra filled boobies. It jumped last year or two when she quit doing that.
Let's get this straight. This was a sitcom. There's nothing wrong with sitcoms. I happen to like sitcoms.
To further clarify, this was a CBS sitcom. That being said, I still somehow managed to watch this show. I found "Yes, Dear" to be quite enjoyable. For a mother with two young kids (fictional or otherwise), Kim had a killer body. Christine was also hot. Greg and Jimmy were great as a comedic team. I also loved the in-laws played by Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence, and Jerry Van Dyke. Memorable episodes were the "Big Brother" episode, the episode where Greg has to move his stuff into storage, the episode where the Hall-of-Famers beat up Big Jimmy, the episode where Greg drives around in a Miata (Really, does any guy drive a Miata? I mean, really?), Greg trying to fight Chris (Titus?), and Greg, Jimmy and Billy trying to shoot the backyard squirrel. This show is a lot funnier than you give it credit for. Take an impartial look, come back, and hopefully you will see I was right.
Christine is a hottie
I actually liked this show but around the end of 2001, that's when it started to become corny. My issue is when I start to put more thought in than I need to, i.e-if Jimmy and Christine are broke, how the hell did they get the money to travel to LA from western Maryland? Especially in a gas-guzzling 77 camaro? Why not just stay and let the other family members take care of them, they already know that your going to mooch off of your brother and sister in-law.
