The title, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Chipmunks consist of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore; therefore Alvin and the chipmunks would be Alvin, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.

I am obsessed with them! Trust me. I have the chipmunk adventure, funny we shrunk the adults, trick or treaston, chipmunk valentine. i also have 9 CD's of them. Ther're all amazing, i love the cartoon better. I get everything on ebay
The movie is your first exposure to the Chipmunks? I see. Every generation has their version of them...mine is the 80's version. But the 60's cartoon is very good: The funniest episode would have to be the one where they get that woman singing "Baby, baby, baby!" until she's taken away to the funny farm. Give the 60's Alvin cartoons a try, I'm sure you'll like them.

I do agree that a cartoon movie would'be been better. The only problem is that i didn't nw the chipmunks even exsisted in the past before the movie, so if there was no live action movie i would have never seen a cartoon. But now that i have seen all of there movies and most of there tv shows I agree
The movie just failed to hook me.
They should have been cartoons, not computer animated chipmunks. Second, I'm not convinced that actor for David was David. Third, they were not supposed to be naked from the waist down, and fourth, the movie would have been better as a cartoon (like the chipmunk adventre) instead of live mixed with computer animation. Finally, the chipmunks were the size of real chipmunks instead of the size of kids that they were supposed to be.
Don't get me wrong, I like the chipmunks (check out my name), but the movie didn't win me over. But I admit, there were some funny moments, and there were a lot of cute parts, most of it Theodore.

I loved the movie. I have 7 of their movies and 7 CD's too. I can't believe you didn't like it. It was hilarious! I've seen it 17 times, four in theater
The movie was terrible. Though Theodore was cute, especially when he asked David if he could sleep with him, the movie was just terrible. It's like this: if they make a Mickey Mouse movie, I expect to see the Mickey Mouse we know and love, not a CGI mouse-sized mouse. I love the Chipmunks but the movie was just terrible.
i just bough the chipmunk CD called the Chipmunks sing the beales hits on ebay for 10 bucks with shipping!!!!! I also just bought trick or treason.
Finally someone understands! Alvin is awseme! I am with you on that. I watch the movies cartoons and sing the songs!!! I own 5 of there CD's. Urban Chipmunk, both greatest hits CD's, their new soundtrack from the movie, and chipmunks in Low palces. I also own 5 movies. Funny we shrunk the adults, the new alvin and the chipmunks movie, the chipmunk adventure, trick or treason, and the chipmunk valentine DVD. GO ALVIN!!!!!
Alvin is the best chipmunk! (in my opinion) I am his #1 fan! I have a mii of him on my wii, i watch the movie, and i watch the cartoons! Alvin can be mean a lot who cares! Alvin gets crazy! Alvin always repies to Dave with a nice OKAY!!! Alvin is the coolest and the awsomest cipmunk! I love Alvin! PEACE!!!!
