Larry asked:
"I feel ashamed asking....I only have a paltry snippet of info on this show, but if you can name it I will be eternally grateful. It was some sort of Saturday morning variety show, somewhere in the late seventies or early eighties. Mostly live-action, it had this one musical number which featured 3 guys as street cleaners, singing as they swept, and one of them spent about 1/2 the song stuck upside-down in a trashcan. Other things which MIGHT be from this show (or mabye I'm confusing shows) are: A guy constantly being grabbed & yanked offscreen by a pair of gorilla arms, and the show ending with someone trying to talk while the set is being dismantled around him. Oh, if you can nail this one....you are truly the bomb!"
The answer is...
"The Hudson Brothers"

Randall asked:
"What was the name of the '90s series set behind the scenes at a 24 hour news network. I think it was ABC, 10:00 PM, early in the week (Mon, Tue or Wed). May have had some location scenes with a news van, but mostly took place on an elaborate sound stage set. A God-like producer in a dimly lit control room monitored everything and everybody at all times. Short run series, maybe a Summer replacement show. One plot had a psycho killer (stalker? Hit-man?) in the studio to kill a reporter. Don't remember anyone who was in it. Not a bad show, though."

"Okay, there was a children's game show that ran, at the very least, somewhere in the mid to late 80's, probably around '87-'88. I almost positive the name of the show was "Kid Quiz", but I can't find any proof of it ever existing. It was pretty much like "Jeopardy", just with kids. I think the host of the show went on to be a weather man on a local (Los Angeles) news show. Also pretty sure the show was on CBS an it ran on Saturday (Sunday?) mornings. Couldn't even find it on IMDb.com. Do I have the name wrong or am I just going insane? I'd also like to know the name of the host if it's possible? Thanks."

"I'm afraid this is going to be a very vague question. It's about a sit-com from the late '60s (I think). It starred Lois Nettleton and a guy. One or the other or both of them might have had children. I think they lived on a farm. They were not married but for some complex but plausible reason (in order to "save the farm"?) they had to live together (possible posing as a married couple?). I seem to recall that it ran one season (or less) and that the couple did finally get together at the end of the series. I think this was the first unmarried couple living together on TV. "There is a show that I saw a while back, about 7 or 8 years ago. No one that I mention it to has ever heard of something matching its description. Please, help me figure out what this show is called! Okay, what I remember about it is there were these two guys who I am pretty sure were aliens, and possibly brothers. One of the brothers was a real horndog, always looking for sex from Earth women. I specifically recall one episode where there was the character of a famous talking dog who was being given something they called "vitamins" but it was really poison or something and it was giving him stomach aches. I also remember one episode where the horndog brother was ordering room service because he was planning an evening with some woman, and he asked them to bring up whipped cream and cellophane.

"What was the name of the '90s series set behind the scenes at a 24 hour news network. I think it was ABC, 10:00 PM, early in the week (Mon, Tue or Wed).
